’Children’s awards’ applications invited

Mangaluru, July 07, 2016: Reports state that applications are invited to select children for the national award for having done extraordinary work in the fields of art, culture, innovation in any field, sports, social service, music and  more that may be finalised by the selection committee and recommended.

Applicants should be in the 5-18 age group. The award carries a gold medal, a purse of Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 10,000 worth book vouchers while the State-level award comprises a silver medal, a purse of Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 3,000 worth book vouchers. Application forms may be had from the office of the Deputy Director, Women and Child Development Department, zilla panchayat building, Urvastore, Ashokanagar post, Mangaluru 575006.
