IGP ACB, Anti-Corruption Bureau assures offices to be fully ready soon

Mangaluru, July 13, 2016:In an informal talk with reporters, Inspector General of Police (Anti-Corruption Bureau) M.A. Saleem  said ACB,  Anti-Corruption Bureau will be fully functional with computers and furniture by the end of July. The staff for each of the 31 police stations in the State will report to duty in another 10 days.

After a formal  inauguration of the ACB police station in Mangaluru recently, IGP Saleem said that ACB police stations are functioning from temporary places in all the districts now and search is on for permanent locations. IGP Saleem said besides providing Rs. 1 lakh each for every police station to procure furniture, the department is providing computers for the smooth functioning. Orders are issued to post ministerial staff to these stations. There is no slowdown in the investigation of cases, he said.
