International Yoga conference in Udupi in Feb 2017

Manipal Aug 11, 2016 : Reports inform that a  five-day international conference on yoga would be organised in Udupi by Sri Krishna Mutt in association with Manipal University, Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samasthana, a deemed university, Bengaluru, and Bhats International Institute of Holistic Health, Mangaluru, on February 2017.

Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt told media on Aug 10, Wednesday that about 500 delegates from across the country and abroad would participate in the conference. The conference would be inaugurated here, but some of the sessions would be held in Manipal. “We are making efforts to get Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the conference. Many Union and State Ministers will also be invited for the conference,” the seer said.
