Beary Language Day celebration inaugurated

Mangaluru Oct 3, 2016:  District Wakf Advisory Committee President SMR Rashid inaugurated Beary Language Day celebration at Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy office in Attavar today October 3 Monday.

Speaking on the occasion he said that, Beary academy has taken a positive step and instigated several programs in every term to promote Beary language.

He also said that, there are myriad schemes which are not meant for minorities but also they lack awareness about various schemes provided under the government and benefits reach them by minorities for which awareness need to be created among people about the government schemes.

Due to peer pressure lot of student are being victim of drug which need to curbed as parents need to be responsible so that children should be focused towards their future rather than indulging to illegal activities, he added.

Meanwhile president of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy Janaki S Bhramavar launched Book sale campaign.

On this eve week long program will be conducted in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi in order to promote Beary language. Beary language day is being celebrated to commemorate the formation of the Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy on October 3rd 2007.

During the occasion  week long program will be held in three districts from October 3rd to 9th,where various competitions is been organized for students and public. Achievers who served for Beary language and literature will be honored as part of the program.
