Kalashree awards invitation for entries.

Mangaluru, Dec 05, 2016: As per a request, entries are invited from children under different categories for being chosen for the Kalashree awards by the Bal Bhavan in Mangaluru taluk. The categories are: fine arts—painting, handicraft and clay—participation in all the three is compulsory; creative writing—story, poem and essay—participation in all the three is compulsory; creative performing art—classical dance, folk dance, carnatic and hindustani music, percussive music, Yakshagana, Yakshini, light music, one-act play, Yoga, dance and magic—any one of the form and innovations in science categories. Participating children may display one science model with explanation and have to answer queries by judges. Children should be aged below 16. The competition workshop will be held at Mangala Jyothi Composite School, Vamanjoor.
