Vittal: Two arrested for ganja peddling

Bantwal, Dec 30, 2016: Police arrested two persons suspected to be part of a ganja peddling network and seized 13 kilograms of ganja worth Rs 1.5 lac. The arrested persons were Arman (25) from Uttar Pradesh and Kalandar Shafi (22) from Kanyana.

According to the Superintendent of Police Gulabrao Borase, the accused were nabbed by police personnel from Alike near to Vittal. Police were monitoring movements of ganja traders in the area for quite sometime. Bantwal DySP Raveesh and Vittal PSI Nagaraju were part of the investigation team.
