Mangaluru, Jan 8, 2017: Roshni Nilya College, Mangaluru, emerged as the winners of ’Emblazon 2017’, a one-day national-level inter-collegiate fest, organised by St Agnes college, for undergraduate students.
A total of 20 teams from different colleges participated in the festival which comprised fashion show, photography, master mind and quiz and other competitions.
Earlier in the day, well-known actor Arjun Kapikad, inaugurated the festival.
He stressed the need to have a good blend of academics and cultural activities. It is an essential part of education, he felt.
Congratulating the students for all their efforts, he said that winning and losing is a part of life and active participation matters more.
The ’Emblazon’, with the subtitle ’Enliven Your Existence’, was aimed at celebrating student life through colours and creating a platform for students to showcase their talents on the college campus with the hope of encouraging student fellowship and talent sharing.
