Mangaluru, Jan 30, 2017: It is reported that Paryaya Srikrishna mutt will organise ’Sapthashatamanotsava’ of Sri Madhwacharya and the 38th Akhila Bharatha Madhwa Tatvajnana Sammelana at Rajangana from January 30 to February 6.
Paryaya Pejawar mutt seer Sri Vishwesha Theerth a Swami said Sri Madhwa Saptashatamanotsava will be inaugurated by former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda on January 30. Former Chief Minister K S Eshwarappa will be chief guest. On January 31, Sri Vishwamanya Mandir built at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore will be inaugurated by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade.
Cultural programmes would be held every evening. Minister for Endowment, Rudrappa Lamani will be chief guest along with Minister Pramod Madhwaraj and KPCC working president Dinesh Gundu Rao at a function on February 1. A conference for youth will be on February 2. The Madhwa Tatvajnana Sammelana will be inaugurated on February 3 by Uttaradhi mutt seer Sri Satyathma Theertha Swami.
Sri Manyasudhamanagala Mahothsava followed by a valedictory ceremony will be on February 6. The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister H K Patil will be chief guest. The seer added that plans are chalked out to build an open air auditorium with a dormitory above at a cost of Rs four crore. The work would be taken up in the present parking lot behind Rajangana.
