Women’s day, doctor, musician felicitated

Mangaluru, Mar 10, 2017: Dr. Subhageetha, consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and a pro animal activist from Manipal, and Pavana Acharya, an artiste and musician, were felicitated at a function held on the occasion of the International Women’s Day here on March 8.

Avyaya, (meaning the indestructible) was the theme for the day and the programme was jointly hosted by Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration (WGSHA), Department of Commerce and School of Communication, Manipal University Ms. Pavana Acharya gave a ‘Panchaveena’ performance with her team after her felicitation.
