DYFI condemns attack on youth

Mangaluru, July 10,2017: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) has condemned the attack on a youth, identified as Chiranjeevi, 24, from Amblamogaru in Kuttar on the outskirts of the city late on Saturday. In a release on Sunday, Jeevanraj Kuttar, DYFI Ullal zonal secretary, claimed that the youth had not identified himself with any organisation.

He has been attacked while returning home on his motorcycle. He said that police should arrest the attackers at the earliest and should ensure that such attacks on innocents do not recur.

Recently, Gangadhar of Kuttar had been attacked by unknown persons and he claimed that the police have not arrested the persons behind the attack.

The DYFI said that some elements have been attempting to disturb peace in the society. If police failed to arrest such persons, the DYFI will soon launch an agitation, he said.
