Mangaluru, July 14,2017: It is reported that Gopal G., secretary of South India Division of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), on July 13,Thursday, said  that the issue of fixing the date for construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was likely to be discussed at the Dharma Sansad to be held at Udupi from November 24 to 26.

Addressing presspersons here, VHP’s  Gopal said that nearly 2,000 seers and saints will participate in the Dharma Sansad. The other issues that would be discussed include dealing with casteism in Hindu community, removal of untouchability, stopping conversion, and promotion of cow protection.

Mohan Bhagwat, secretary of RSS, Pravin Togadia, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and others will take part. The Dharma Sansad is being organised by the VHP and Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt, Gopal said. He said that though Amarnath yatra in Kashmir continued despite the attack by extremists. The government should hand over the security of the yatra to the army. He blamed the SDPI and PFI for the unrest in Dakshina Kannada district. The police had failed to arrest the assailants in the RSS activist Sharath Madiwala case. Instead, cases had been slapped against various Hindu groups, he said.
