Coast Guard Commander reviews operational preparedness

Mangaluru, Aug 4,2017: Inspector-General K.R. Nautiyal, Commander, Indian Coast Guard Region (West), who is on a two-day visit here, reviewed the operational and administrative set up of the Coast Guard Karnataka on Wednesday.

He also reviewed the operational preparedness, a Coast Guard release said.

In the morning, the Flag Officer inspected a guard of honour in a ceremonial parade, it said.

The Flag Officer expressed satisfaction over the recent rescue services rendered by Coast Guard Karnataka. He also appreciated the progress made in infrastructure development and liaison of Coast Guard Karnataka with the State administration, police, Customs, fisheries and other organisations concerned.
