Mangaluru, August 26, 2022: Music soothes one’s minds and hearts and plays a key role in leading a peaceful life. For Vanil Veigas, an outstanding musician from Mangaluru music is a passion which he has been dedicatedly pursuing and has also been rewarded for his quality creations.

It was an occasion of great reckoning when Vanil shared the prestigious Grammy Award along with Ricky Kej for the album song ‘Divine Tides.’

The album was a creation during the pandemic and he feels truly blessed to receive the Award. Vanil has been associated with the renowned musician Ricky Kej since 2007 and has worked with him for commercials, music albums and movie soundtracks.

Earlier in 2015 too Vanil had shared the Grammy Honour with Ricky Kej for the album Winds of Samsara at the 57th Grammy Awards.

Vanil who hails from Permannur is presently based in Bengaluru. He also enjoys photography along with music. It was his father Isaac Veigas, a known musician in various bands, who taught music to Vanil.

Vanil is married to Diana D’Silva and the couple is blessed with a daughter.
