‘Ghar Se Nikalte Hi’ Actor Mayoori is Google India Industry head

Apr 04, 2019 : We all remember Mayoori Kango as the girl who stole our hearts in Ghar Se Nikalte Hi, Kuch Door Chalte Hi. She might have left acting a long time back, but her professional life is on a high in the digital space, Yahoonews reported.

 

Mayoori has now joined Google India as its industry head – agency business. Mayoori was previously the managing director of Performics.Resultrix, part of the Publicis Groupe. She has also worked with Digitas as associate director, media and Zenith as Chief Digital Officer.

When she was 15, Mayoori chose acting over getting enrolled in IIT Kanpur. She made her debut with the National Award-winning film Naseem in 1995. She later appeared in movies like Papa Kehte Hain, Betaabi, Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet, Badal and Papa the Great. During her stint as an actor she has worked with Ajay Devgn, Anupam Kher, Arshad Warsi, Shakti Kapoor, Rani Mukerji and other notable celebrities.

After Mayoori got married, she left acting to settle down in the US. There, she pursued an MBA in marketing and finance from City University of New York-Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business.
