June 28, 2018: The news of their engagement came in as a sweet surprise to many. Also, when one of the richest men on the planet, Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambani, was forever taken by diamond conglomerate daughter, Shloka Mehta, people looked forward to witness the biggest festivity that is about to take place.

And guys, the date is already here when Akash and Shloka will put a ring on each other’s fingers and will be officially engaged. Pre-engagement functions have already begun at the Ambani household, Anitilia and a very popular celebrity in news had shared a picture herself! Priyanka Chopra! PeeCee had attended the function and posted a beautiful picture along with the caption, “Congratulations Akash and Shloka!! Such a beautiful ceremony.. mehendi hai rachne wali.. love you both. Akash and Shloka will be officially engaged on June 30, 2018, and we can’t be more excited but wait eagerly to share more updates with you all. Also, we came across a couple of inside pictures from their mehendi ceremony. Most importantly, have you seen the picture of the beautiful bride-to-be? Shloka donned a blue Anamika Khanna attire and donned her hands with henna and wore floral jewellery. Heavenly, we say!

Akash’s twin sister, Isha too looked drop-dead gorgeous in a beige-and-pink lehenga. Isha, too, is engaged to business tycoon Anand Piramal and is expected to tie the knot by the end of this year. But before this, take a look at how beautiful Isha looked.

 

As per a Filmfare report, none other than, superstar Shah Rukh Khan will host Akash and Shloka’s engagement bash and will also perform at the party. You will also get to see a lot of tinsel town stars gathered under the same roof. The party is expected to take place at the Ambani’s residence.

On June 6, 2018, Akash’s mommy, Nita Ambani and brother Anant Ambani went to the famous Siddhivinayak Temple to offer the formal engagement card of the couple. Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s engagement card includes their names. It reads, “You are the light in our Akash, You illuminate our every Shloka”. Akash and Shloka are childhood friends and on March 24, 2018, he proposed to his childhood sweetheart in the presence of his family members. Two days later, that is, on March 26, 2018 a celebration followed in regard to the same. Here’s a picture:

In a recent interview to an online portal, the to-be Ambani bahu shared, “Despite years and busy schedules, we have always found ways to stay connected. Akash is incredibly grounded, and we share a bond based on meaning and memories. We don’t just get along - we also support each other’s hopes and aspirations and are determined to build a sense of purpose into our lives together. We are lucky to have a love that began with being best friends and luckier still to have such supportive families”.

While Akash shared, “I am truly happy that our friendship has blossomed into love and Shloka and I are getting married, she is a truly special and extremely kind-hearted person”. In another interview with a leading media portal, Nita Ambani, post-Akash and Shloka’s proposal had said, “I have known Shloka since she was four and we are all delighted to welcome her to our home and our hearts”. A source close to the family had revealed, “Shloka is a very charming girl, extremely cultured and it’s difficult to say which of the two families is lucky with this upcoming marriage”.

The tentative dates for Akash and Shloka’s wedding are December 8, 2018 to December12, 2018. The wedding will be celebrated over a period of four days at a plush Mumbai hotel. Another bash to remember, fellows!
