Mar 12, 2019 - In a larger-than-life ceremony, Akash Ambani and Shloka Metha tied the knot on March 9. The power couple’s wedding took place at the Jio garden in Mumbai and was attended by their families, close friends and many prominent Bollywood celebs including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor among others.

On March 10, Akash and Shloka had their first post-wedding function. Both the Ambani and Mehta family hosted the couple’s Mangal Parv ceremony and last night, the newlyweds had their grand wedding reception.

Recently, we got our hands on Akash and Shloka’s first photo from the bash and they look like a pair made in heaven. For the celebration, while Akash looked his dapper self in a red bandhgala kurta, Shloka looked breathtakingly beautiful in a pink lehenga with silver embroidery. She accessorised her outfit with gorgeous diamond jewellery. Shloka kept her hair and make-up simple for the event.

Check out the newlyweds first photo from their wedding reception below.

Akash is Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani’s elder son and Shloka is diamond merchant Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta’s daughter. Prior to their lavish wedding, the power couple had their pre-wedding festivities in St. Moritz, Switzerland where they were seen having a gala time with their pals from the tinsel town.

Even their Mangal Parv was a star-studded event. Interestingly, Maroon 5’s Adam Levine gave a special performance for Akash and Shloka’s guest at the post-wedding bash.
