September 20, 2023: Ringing in the festive season with her vibrant energy, Alia Bhatt attended the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s residence in a vibrant saree designed by fashion designer Arpita Mehta.

 

Gracing the occasion with her friend and director Ayan Mukerji, Alia Bhatt posed for the media before she stepped inside Antilla. Alia who did rock the saree look in her latest blockbuster film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, looked at ease in the Arpita Mehta creation.

Alia Bhatt was seen in Arpita Mehta’s soon-to-be-launched vermillion georgette sari with a self on self mirror border edged with delicate tassels, along with a brick design mirror hand embroidered blouse.

Before attending the event, Alia gave a sneak peek of her look on Instagram. The highlight of the look is the sleeveless blouse embroidered with mirror work. The mirror work also features across the saree border. Adding a hint of drama to the look, the saree also features beads dangling on the border. The shade was the perfect colour to elevate the intricate mirror work.

The mirror work reflects Alia’s personality to the T and makes this ensemble a one-of-a-kind look celebrating the star that she is. Styled by Ami Patel, Alia’s fuss-free hairstyle was done by Ayesha DeVitre and her flawless makeup was done by Puneet B Saini. The tiny black bindi is alluring and complements Alia’s overall look.

Spreading love and light everywhere she goes, Alia’s impeccable style is the perfect mood board this festive season. The saree is versatile and can be worn for every occasion. You could also pair the stunning blouse with a lehenga skirt and dance the night away during Navratri. Though we also wanted to see Ranbir Kapoor and Alia together in their traditional best at this event, we hope they make an appearance real soon.
