Mumbai, Oct 11, 2016: Putting all rumours to rest, Raj Nayak, CEO of Colors has confirmed that Deepika Padukone will be Salman Khan’s first guest on ‘Bigg Boss 10’ this weekend. ‘Bigg Boss 10’ kicks off this Sunday 16th October night at 9.00 pm on Colors.

Until now, the only confirmed name on the show was that of actor Salman Khan who is set to return as its host for the seventh time. He has been a constant reason for the BB audience to keep coming back every time. But season 10 might just start differently, for there is another name who will add glamour to the premiere episode of Indian television’s most controversial show. While we kept hearing about the buzz, it just got confirmed by the channel itself. It is Deepika Padukone who will be joining Salman on its first day, and we cannot contain our excitement anymore!

Deepika will be dropping on the show to promote her upcoming Hollywood film xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. The promos of her debut Hollywood project is doing the rounds for some time now. And understanding that Bigg Boss has a far-reaching viewership, it is definitely a smart move from the maker of xXx to pick the show for kickstarting the film’s promotions in India.

Deepika and Salman have not really shared screen space till now. The only connect they have had is probably that of Ranbir Kapoor and several exes and former partners in between to create that link! But the coming of these two actors on the Bigg Boss stage will surely inspire several filmmakers to cast them real soon. It surely will be one action-packed premiere episode.
