September 02, 2023: Janhvi Kapoor’s fashion realm is all about combining contemporary chic with traditional elegance. Every time the actress wears an ethnic outfit, she makes headlines for her inherent vintage panache that adds a touch of sophistication to her otherwise modish outfit.

 

Her latest photoshoot, in which she wore a red saree styled like a dress and draped with traditional pleats, has become a viral sensation. "A work of art," Janhvi wrote in the caption of the post she shared on Instagram.

"Beautiful," "ethereal," "so gorgeous," "blooming elegance" - comments poured in from celebs and fans on her post.

Janhvi, though looked like the quintessential Indian princess, she also added a bit of modernity to her look. While she effortlessly draped the dual-toned saree around her body, which did not have a blouse, she opted for long wavy hair and pink flowers as head decoration.

Her style and appeal matched that of a mystical portrait from another time.

As for the makeup, the diva went in with a glossy peach-toned look that had highlighted pink blush with nude lips, slight pink eyeshadow and emboldened eyes.

If you loved the actress’s saree, you’ll have to shell out over Rs 24,500 by the brand Anavila. Known as the Gulaal Zari Border Linen Sari, the drape is made from handwoven linen fabric with silver zari borders.

On the work front, Janhvi will star in Mr and Mrs Mahi, co-starring Rajkummar Rao. She will also feature in a film with RRR star Jr NTR.
