On Wednesday night, Jennifer Lopez broke the internet (in a literal and figurative sense) after her almost naked photo for InStyle magazine surfaced.

The star of InStyle’s December issue, Jennifer Lopez, left little to the imagination as she wore a Valentino cape. The shimmery cape only added to her oomph, as she comfortably accepted her curves.

Did we mention she is turning 50 in July?

As soon as the photo was posted, many were reminded of another green dress Jennifer Lopez wore.

The superstar attended the 2000 Grammy Awards dressed in a Versace gown, which became the one thing the globe couldn’t stop talking about.

Cut to 18 years later, and JLo has exuded the same confidence, the same grace, and the same attitude.

Mere mortals (which Jennifer Lopez isn’t), will say years have hardly made a difference on her. But Jennifer Lopez thinks they have.

Speaking to InStyle, she said she might need reading glasses soon and she loses muscles on dancing too much.

But the no caffeine, no alcohol rule has paid her well. "I’ve taken care of myself, and now it shows," she said.

Before Kim Kardashian, it was Jennifer Lopez who started the trend of embracing curvy body types, but she insisted it is not something she was conscious about.

"In my family, curves were glorified and part of the culture. It was just like, ’Jennifer has a big butt, and it’s good’," she said.

She added she was just being herself all along.
