Chennai, May 29, 2018 : Vijay-starrer Mersal was the first Tamil film to get its own emoji on Twitter. Following Mersal, Rajinikanth’s Kaala has now got its own emoji and has set Twitter on fire since morning.
While this is certainly an achievement for a Tamil film, many fans of Rajinikanth are disappointed with the choice of emoji. It has a black background with Rajinikanth’s face outline in red. Since the emoji’s size is small, Rajinikanth’s face is not visible.
Few fans have tweeted to the makers to consider a different image for the official emoji. A fan named Arun has given the team of Kaala, six emoji suggestions in which Rajinikanth’s face is visible.
Here are some of the other tweets:
Directed by Pa Ranjith, Kaala starring Rajinikanth will chronicle the life of a slum lord-turned gangster living in Dharavi. Bollywood actor Nana Patekar will be seen as a politician who takes on Kaala.
The film marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi. She will be seen as a 45-year-old Zareena, Kaala’s ex-girlfriend in the film.
