February 29, 2020: Loose Women panellist Saira Khan has opened up about finding motivation to keep fit again after losing her “spark”.
The presenter, 49, posted a photo to Instagram flexing in her workout gear looking fit as ever, and shared an inspirational message to fans.
“A few weeks ago, before I really started focussing on my life, my mind, and my daily habits- I felt that my spark had gone,” she began.
“I felt down, miserable, irritable, annoyed and just pissed of with who I was, had become and the direction I was heading. I knew something had to change. I had to engage my HEAD and start turning the negatives into positives - I had to get my life back- no more excuses of no time, too tired, busy with kids, got no energy.”
Now two weeks on, Saira says she feels like “a different person”.
“I cleaned up my act, got active, and started to believe that my 50th year will be the BEST YEAR and the start of new habits and goals,” she gushed.
She credits her trainer with her newfound energy to stay active and urged others to try and find their “spark” again.
“Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got a long way to go to feel that I’ve got my lifestyle right, I need to stretch more, drink more (water) sleep more, relax more,” she added.
“We lose ourselves along the journey of life, that’s natural ... but when you find your spark again, it’s magic and there’s no stopping you!”
While she still looks amazing, it’s clear the relatable predicament motivated her to get more active.
She ended her post with: “Here’s to finding your SPARKLE! Shine bright.”
