Noida, April 27, 2017: On Tuesday, Srishti Kaur, a resident of Noida, was crowned Miss Teen Universe 2017 after beating 25 contestants from around the world at the annual beauty pageant. The event was held at Managua, the capital of Central American country Nicaragua.
The other finalists were Ary Trava from Mexico and Samantha Pierre from Canada. She also won an award for the best national costume, which featured a peacock – the Indian national bird. The youngster has studied from Lotus Valley International in Noida and is currently pursuing her education at London School of Fashion.
Earlier this year, Kaur had won the title of Miss Teen Tiara International, beating 29 other participants. The pageant, started six years ago, is organised by the Miss Universe organisation for teens aged 15 to 19.
