It’s the Bollywood romance that’s got every tongue wagging and every camera snapping in anticipation of the perfect shot. And as always, it began in true filmi style. In case you haven’t already guessed who we’re talking about, its R-A-N-B-I-R and K-A-T-R-I-N-A. Just to spell it out.

 

 

Here’s a look back at the couple before they reached this patch of roses in their life. Ranbir, who comes from the erstwhile Kapoor filmi khandaan has had his share of lady loves in the past. Of all his supposed link ups, his relationship with Deepika Padukone is the one that made it to headlines and out in the open. But as luck (or the lack of it) would have it, the magic faded and the couple parted ways, amicably or not we’re not really sure.

Of course the Kapoor lad has had many a girlfriend before settling down with Katrina. Here’s a look at who else he’s shared his heart with.

 

While Deepika and Ranbir were still together is when Ranbir met Katrina for the first time, apparently at an awards ceremony. Katrina was with her then he-man and general scary man about town, Salman Khan. There were no sparks or sprinklers going off, just yet, between Ranbir and Katrina. And so they went their own way. While the Dippy-Ranbir saga was nipped in the proverbial bud, Katrina’s love for Sallu bhai was dwindling while her career grew independent of his filmi support.

 

 

Then came the clincher, when the pair were put square opposite each other for the film Ajab Prem K Ghazab Kahani, (you know the one where you have to take a long breath before you say it) and luv-shuv began to happen. The cherry blossoms fell, the bells rang in tune and the birds chirped away. Hindi film soundtrack apart, the firangi Kat and the desi Kapoor ladka became an item. But neither has a penchant for overt displays of affection.

 

Spotted vacationing in Dubai and then in the dance capital of the world, Ibiza, the love up couple thrive on public denials of their alleged affair. Really, now! Traipsing around by the beach side in a barely there bikini together. Unless the pair of them are filming a Pirelli calendar of their own on Spanish shores, there’s not much to deny is there? But no like the sweet, scripted Bollywood stars they are, they come back home, exit the airport separately and even attend movie screenings in separate cars.

 

Anyone else feel this game is getting a bit tiresome? They’re everywhere, almost every week and frankly it kind of blows Katrina’s early to bed spiel to pieces.Own up already and leave the paparazzi to hound someone new. Unless of course, we’re all hallucinating and they really are ‘just friends’.
