January 16, 2023: For USA’s R’Bonney Gabriel, it was an emotional moment as she cried tears of joy after winning the Miss Universe 2022 crown at the grand event held in New Orleans on January 15. In a video posted by the official account of Miss Universe, R’Bonney Gabriel was seen celebrating her win as other participants congratulated her.
“Who are you,” the host asked R’Bonney Gabriel, as she exclaimed, “Miss Universe!” All the other contestants cheered for her as she wiped a tear during the most significant moment of her life.

At the 71st edition of the Miss Universe pageant, Venezuela’s Amanda Dudamel was the first runner-up and Dominican Republic’s Andreina Martinez was the second runner-up.
India, this year, was represented by Karnataka’s Divita Rai and she made it to the top 16. Over 80 contestants competed for the Miss Universe 2022 title.
