Varun Dhawan confirms he has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently recovering in Mumbai

Mumbai, Dec 07, 2020:    On Monday, Varun Dhawan took to his Instagram handle and confirmed that he has tested positive for Covid-19. The 33-year-old actor confirmed the news two days after reports emerged that he and his co-star Neetu Kapoor have tested positive for coronavirus.

The duo was shooting for their film Jug Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh. Soon after he shared the news on his Instagram handle, get well soon messages started pouring in from his co-stars and fans. Bipasha Basu and John Abraham also wished the actor a speedy recovery.

VARUN DHAWAN CONFIRMS HE IS COVID-19 POSITIVE

Varun Dhawan is in isolation and taking proper precautions. The actor shared a picture on Instagram, where he can be seen on a conference call with his friends. Varun mentioned in the post that despite following proper Covid-19 guidelines on the sets of Jug Jugg Jeeyo, he has contracted the virus.
