Virat Kohli reacts to picture with Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika: My whole world in one frame

Feb 02, 2021:     Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma revealed the name of their first child on Monday with an adorable picture on Instagram.

The couple were blessed with a baby girl on January 11 this year and have decided to name her Vamika.

"We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level!

"Tears , laughter , worry , bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes , prayers and good energy," Anushka Sharma captioned her post in which she can be seen holding the baby with Kohli by her side.

The superstar cricketer then replied: "My whole life in one frame".

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya also reacted on the picture with a heart.

Virat Kohli had returned home from Australia in December for his paternity leave as Anushka was expected to delivery in January.

Kohli played the ODIs and T20I series before leading India in the first Test in Adelaide which the visitors lost in dramatic fashion after getting bowled out for 36 in their second innings on Day 3.

Kohli scored 74 and 4 runs in the Pink-ball Test while the rest of his teammates failed to fire with the bat as India went down by 8 wickets.

Ajinkya Rahane then stepped into Kohli’s shoes and led India to victory in the second and fourth Tests in Melbourne and Brisbane to complete a famous series win on Australian soil.
Kohli has returned to the Indian squad and is currently in Chennai preparing to lead Team India in the upcoming four-Test series against England starting February 5.
