’Taarak Mehta...’ actor Deepti Sadhwani makes Cannes red carpet debut

France, May 15, 2024: ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ actor Deepti Sadhwani walked the 77 edition of the Cannes Film Festival on the opening day. The highly anticipated film festival kicked off on May 14, 2024, with an extravagant opening ceremony that set the tone for the prestigious 12-day event.
Deepti made her stunning debut in an orange gown with a ‘record-breaking’ long trail. The actor will be walking the red carpet for three days including with opening ceremony which was held at the iconic Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France.
This year, the opening night was a star-studded affair, with the world premiere of Quentin Dupieux’s film ‘The Second Act,’ featuring an impressive cast. Adding to the evening’s allure, Oscar winner Meryl Streep was honored with the prestigious Palme d’Or for her outstanding contributions to cinema.
Deepti shared pictures from her red carpet moment on Instagram and wrote, “Honoured to be walking the red carpet for the Opening ceremony of 77th Cannes Film Festival with the record-breaking longest trail of the gown (sic).”
