The Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has used the public transport in Mumbai in her college days!
The Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is now a star. But she has lived her college days just like a common man. The actress recently revealed that, while living in Mumbai, she used to use public transport like Mumbai local trains, buses and taxis in her younger days.
Talking to Rajeev Masand, she said, “I have done the bus and the train, everything, as a college kid. I have done the trains. I know exactly what it gets like at Dadar station. And I know what it is like on buses. I know that the rainy season is not the easiest at all on public transport.”
She wants to make her daughter realize the kind of hardships that a common man has to go through as she said, “And I am not saying that I need to kind of shove Aaradhya into all that in the coming years. At the end of the day, we have to consider all aspects of life. It is not that one is going to treat her privileged, but at the same time, just to prove a point I am not going to be irresponsible as her mother. I am gonna have to gauge circumstances in the time. But at the same time, while one can, I definitely want to give her an idea of what life is like for everybody.”
Talking about the professional front of the actress, she is going to be seen in the film Fanney Khan. The film stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao as well in pivotal roles. It will be releasing on August 3, this year. The actress is also going to share screen space with husband Abhishek Bachchan in the film Gulab Jamun.
