New digital condom called Electric Eel shocks you into pleasure

mangaloretoday.com / India today

Scientists want you have pleasure. And they want you to be safe.So they’ve developed a new kind of condom. It’s called, horrifically, "Electric Eel".

Digital condom...

But unlike the electrifying sea creature that it is named after, this condom sends electric impulses along the shaft to mimic pleasurable sensations that are usually dulled by traditional condoms.

Two researchers from Georgia Tech, Fraz Peer and Andrew Quitmeyer, created the prototype of an open source, digital condom that’s wired with electrodes along the side of the sleeve and hooked to a microcontroller for power. (SEE VIDEO BELOW)

And they tested it on themselves as well as others. According to them, the resulting sensation was "pleasurable, comforting and exciting".

The two researchers have created two versions of the Electric Eel - one that is a rolled out existing condom rigged with electrodes and the other is a conductive sock.

The Electric Eel is just one of the inventions in response to the Gates Foundations challenge to invent the "Next Generation of Condom" that would increase pleasure and at the same time reduce the spread of STDs.

No matter what the intention, we wonder how many men would like their manhood to be electrocuted - albeit mildly - at regular intervals while in the throes of passion.
