Feb 20, 2019 - The Malayalam film Oru Adaar Love has not opened to that great responses like it received before the release. The film has been in buzz way before it released, courtesy wink girl Priya Prakash Varrier. The film’s song “Manikya Malaraya Poovi” released almost a year and the scene where Priya is shown winking instantly became talk of the town. The song became popular and Priya became an internet sensation. This was something the makers of the film did not expect and that led to some changes in the script. The script was rewritten and re-shot and the makers decided to increase Priya’s role in the film. But do you know, originally it was not Priya but Noorin Shereef the film’s lead actress?

We saw Priya Prakash Varrier and not Noorin Shereef in the lead role. As per a recent report, Noorin is disappointed with the makers of Oru Adaar Love. In an interview the actress has spilled the beans on how and why the makers of the film changed the entire storyline. In an interview to Manorama Online the young diva said, “I was actually very happy when Omar Lulu selected me as the heroine in the movie. But as Priya Prakash Varrier’s wink went viral, makers changed the entire storyline of the movie, and my character was a bit sidelined. I actually felt very disappointed when my character lost its importance as this was my first offer to act in the lead role.”

It is not just Noorin Shereef who is disappointed but even the fans and critics are disappointed. And seeing the flow of negative response especially for the film’s climax, the makers decided to re-shot the climax again. Director Omar Lulu told Manorama, “We re-shot the climax in a day’s time and a 10-minute sequence will replace the existing climax. Apart from this, around 10 minutes from the total duration of the movie has been cut. The new version will hit the screens from Wednesday (February 20) noon show.”
