Richard Gere meets Narendra Modi

New Delhi, January 5, 2015:  Hollywood star Richard Gere on Monday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday.

 

Gere is also chairman of Gere Foundation and Global Envoy of International Buddhist Confederation.

The American movie star gifted Modi a bunch of flowers and a Tibetan khata or scarf.

 
 

This is Modi’s second meeting with a Hollywood star as Prime Minister.

In September last year, Hugh Jackman shared the stage with him at a rock concert in New York.
