Sara Ali Khan reveals mom Amrita Singh told her not to message Kartik Aaryan. Here is why

Jan 5, 2019 - Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan have been a hot topic of discussion ever since Sara revealed on Karan Johar’s chat show that she would like to date him. Since then, she has been saying she’s been waiting for him to ask her out on date. Even Kartik has reacted by asking for her phone number and address during media interactions.

Interestingly, Sara isn’t willing to message him on Instagram, and fans are rather confused. In a recent interview, Sara was advised that she should message him on Instagram, but she refused and said, "No, no, no...how much! I have said it everywhere. Itna bhi desparate nahi. Mom said you must wait. So, I am waiting!" Now that’s some sound advice from mom Amrita Singh.

Sara has already imagined how it would be if Kartik asked her out. "Yes. Let’s go! Now! We love coffee or we can watch a movie. Hi! Oh Wow! I can’t believe it. Kaaaartik!" the Kedarnath actress said.

At an awards show, the two met, courtesy Sara’s Simmba co-star Ranveer Singh, and they shared a hug.

However, she might have to wait a bit. Word on the streets suggests that something is brewing between Kartik and Ananya Panday. The two were caught by the paparazzi on a date night. They also rang in the New Year together. Stylist Sanjay Kumar Dauhaliya shared the snap on his Instagram account.

When Kartik was asked about the link-up rumours with Ananya at the Agenda Aaj Tak 2018, he said, "People say all sorts of things if we have lunch or dinner together. It was just one dinner. I find it strange to read such things about myself."

On the work front, Kartik will be seen next on the big screen in Laxman Utekar’s Luka Chuppi, in which he will be seen playing a television reporter. The film, which also features Kriti Sanon in the lead role, will release on March 1.

Sara’s films Kedarnath and Simmba both have done good business at the box office, and everyone’s wondering which film she will sign next.
