West Bengal , Aug 09, 2019: The power of social media cannot be underestimated, it has changed the fates of people who went viral. A lady on Ranaghat station in West Bengal went viral for her beautiful rendition of Lata Mangeshkar’s song "Ek Pyaar ka Nagma Hai".
The video won hearts of the internet. And thanks to it crossing over a million views, Ranu Mondal, the woman has got a good makeover. And now a new video has come up online which shows her crooning the same song in her new look. About a week ago, a video was shared on a Facebook page of Ranu singing the popular song from the film Shor.
The video that broke the internet has now given her a new path in life as she is also getting performance requests from all over the country. As per a report in DNA, her talent has got its recognition from the music field. She has apparently gotten requests to perform in major metropolitan cities and also from across the border, Bangladesh. She has even got requests from a music album.
Ranu Mondal has definitely got a new lease of life as very soon she could be seen on a reality show. Makers of the show helped her in the makeover and have also arranged for her travel to Mumbai. Now the only problem is getting the permissions due to lack of her documents. Another video has been shared on social media, which shows her new look and has the Caravan in her hand.
Ranu’s husband passed away after which she used to make her living by singing on railway platforms. It is great to see her in her new look and we can only see her excelling further. Social media has benefitted one more talent so well.
