Yana Gupta bares all for item song in ’Murder 2’

April 21, 2011: Sizzling hottie Yana Gupta is back in news for an item song in Bhatts’ home production ‘Murder 2’, which will see the ‘Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo’ girl shed all her shyness and clothes too.

Well, grapevine has it that the hot item babe has stripped more than 95 percent for her new item song titled ‘Aa Zara Kareeb Se’ and her outfit in the song hides only her assets.

 

 

 

Reportedly, the song is being termed as the hottest number of B-town till now and the no-panty girl has performed the dance number with elegance.

According to Mid Day, the queen of item numbers is back in vogue after her latest stint, and she said that while she enjoyed shooting for the song, working without an AC was tough.

“It was very hot as there was no air conditioning. But it was for the Bhatts after all. I loved the team”, said Yana.

Yana replaces Mallika, Bipasha for the song
While having Yana perform on the song has proved to be a good fortune for the Bhatts, she was not the original choice for the desi number.

Apparently, after being turned down by Mallika Sherawat and Bipasha Basu, who refused to bare so much, the moviemakers approached Yana Gupta and she was instantly signed on.

 

 

The Lakme brand ambassador said, “I think Bipasha not doing the song worked in my favor but what’s more important is that it worked in favour of the song too”.

This was confirmed by director Mohit Suri, who has been bowled over by her work in the song and he told Mid Day, “Yana understood the circumstances and co-operated with us. We finally got what we were looking for. Yana worked totally for our song”.

Zeenat happy with Yana’s ‘Laila’
Yana Gupta, who has stepped into the footsteps of Zeenat Aman for the version of yesteryear’s hit number ‘Laila O Laila’ in ‘Challo Dilli’, is garnering praises for her performance in the song from one and all.

Yana said, "I was extremely excited. It’s a fantastic song and it’s an honor to do Zeenatji’s song. I loved the song and I’m sure people would love it too".

Even Zeenat has expressed her liking for the new version of the song and said, “I’m completely confident with Yana. She’s a sensual lady and a wonderful dancer. I am sure that they’ll do complete justice to the song through her”.
