Germany, Mar 20, 2015: Looking at it from a distance, you would be forgiven for thinking you were looking at a giant mop in the middle of a meadow.
But you will actually find it’s a Puli dog - a small to medium-sized breed from Hungary, which is famous for its long and shaggy fur.

The pooch’s waterproof coat requires a controlled matting process to achieve the desired fur which looks like dreadlocks.
It needs a large amount of grooming to keep the fur neat and clean. As it grows older, the fur gets much longer and reaches the ground.
She said: ‘Sometimes you are lucky and you get an extraordinary image like this. You always hope to get a good shot, but you need luck.
’Some breeds tend to be funny in human eyes - one of them is the Puli. So you have a good chance to get a nice picture with this type.’
Pulis were used as guard dogs and also for herding livestock. The breed’s ancestry can be traced back more than 1,000 years to Asia.
