Kochi, Feb 25: The 23-year-old CEO of a Kochi start-up would be one of the speakers at the four-day Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, which began on Monday.
Rohildev N is the founder of robotics startup RHL Vision Technologies, whose star product ’Fin’, a smart ring that can literally convert your fingers into a TV remote control or a dialling pad for your phone, has been a head-turner in the industry.
According to news reports, Fin is a Bluetooth-enabled ring that could be worn on one’s finger, converting the palm into a numeric keypad or gesture interface to interact with appliances such as TV. The gadget would have three in-built sensors beaming signals into a TV loaded with software developed by RHL Vision.
The company has also started a campaign to take the product to the market and to find investors.
The 23-year-old founder started the company when he was in the third year of his engineering course. Last month, they were among the top 15 companies at TechCrunch CES Hardware Battlefield in Las Vegas.
