Europe, Nov 19, 2014: Most 14-year-olds worry about their body image but Cosmo Taylor is too busy getting ripped for that.
The teenager is UK’s youngest competitive bodybuilder, having started pumping iron at just 11-YEARS-OLD to follow in his father’s footsteps.
With the help of his trainer and fellow bodybuilder dad, Cosmo does gruelling cardio every day before school and a further hour of weightlifting after lessons.
Like many bodybuilders twice or three times his age, Cosmo’s diet is carefully planned and treats are only allowed once a week.
His hard work is already paying off though, and he came third in a nationwide competition in Aberdeen, despite being two years under the guideline age.
And it’s not just father and son who are picking up dumbells - the whole family are feeling the burn.
Cosmo said: "My dad’s a bodybuilder and he’s my inspiration. "Ever since I was a little boy, all I’ve wanted to do is step on stage.
"Dad has encouraged me every step of the way — he’s my coach, gym buddy and partner.
"My sister comes to the gym with us too. She’s a competitive power lifter and has won gold medals. I’m lucky to have such a good support network."
Mum Florence, 50, and dad Andrew, 47, from Inverness in the Scottish Highlands, reckon he could be a top bodybuilder one day.
Florence says: "We are extremely proud of Cosmo for having achieved so much at such a young age. He is on a high-protein diet to ensure he is the best he can be.
"Bodybuilding is a very unforgiving sport and every muscle must be developed to demonstrate size, symmetry and condition."
Cosmo added: "My friends at school are fascinated by my physique because most of them haven’t started going to the gym yet.
"Some of my male teachers laugh and joke about how they’d love to have a body like mine."
