This is Liana-Jean Lisle who it is believed could be the tallest five-year-old in Britain.
She was born at an average weight and height but quickly started growing at double the rate of other children the same age.
By the time she was two she was 3ft 7in tall - the same as a five-year-old - and now, as she starts at a primary school in South West London she will be the same height as children in the top year.
She already wears adult shoes and is thought to be the tallest five year old in Britain.
Her mother, Donna Lisle, 28, and 5ft 10in, said: ’People always think Liana-Jean is older, about nine or ten. They assume she is really immature or even has learning difficulties and it really upsets me.
’People think I’m a bad mother because if we are in the supermarket and she throws a tantrum they don’t realise she is only five years old and that is normal behaviour.
’It was when she was six months old that I first noticed she was significantly taller than the other children. At eighteen months I knew I had a giant on my hands.
’I worry about her height every day and I find it hard to get on and be a normal mum.
’She is too tall for the younger children so they push her out but the older children think she is too immature for them to play with.
’People are very judgmental but after a while the children at reception accepted her as one of their own and she is really looking forward to going to school.’
As a baby Liana-Jean drank more than 9ozs of milk a day and she shot up in height reaching 3ft 7in by the time she was two years old.
Liana-Jean has to wear clothes designed for ten-year-olds and also wears adult size one shoes.
She is due to start at primary school next week but Ms Lisle is still waiting for confirmation of her daughter’s place.
Donna added: ’Liana-Jean is a very intelligent girl. She wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She is a really good dancer and loves music.
’Liana knows she is very tall because people always make remarks but I always try to boost her confidence. I tell her she is beautiful and she is.
When she was born, Liana was 7lbs 5ozs and 1ft 8ins but is growing at twice the rate of people her age
’I put our family history into an online height predictor which predicted Liana-Jean could be 7ft 4in by the time she is 18.
’I will always be proud of her, however tall she gets and whatever she does in life.’
Jack Ives, who suffers from the growth disorder Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome, hit the headlines in April this year as the tallest five-year-old in Britain at 4ft 2in tall.
Doctors are yet to diagnose Liana-Jean with a medical condition but may have to give her hormone treatment if she is still growing aged 12.
