Tribal man marries two women at same time in Telangana

June 19, 2021: A tribal man married two daughters of his aunts in Ghanpur village in Telangana in the same ‘mandap’ and received blessings from his elders.

 

According to media reports, the marriage took place on June 14.

Arjun, who completed BEd and his preparing for the competitive examination, fell in love with two women named Usharani and Surekha. He was dating both women for the past four years.

 

Everything was smooth until Arjun’s family decided to get him married.

He later convinced the families of Usharani and Surekha and his kin and finally got hitched to both of his lovers.

On this, locals of his village said the marriage is not an unusual affair and such marriages are acceptable in the tribal community.
