Mangalore, September17: Sixtyone-year-old Mehmet Ozyurek of Turkey has the world’s longest nose, measuring 3.46 inches , says Guinness Book of World Records. The 2011 edition of the book has been published priced at £20.
The latest edition is packed with tales of amazing animals and heady human feats, from the death-defying to the downright daft. Since it was first published in 1955, people have gone to incredible lengths to lay claim to the silliest of records.

Puggy is the dog with the longest tongue 4.5 inches in the world. A Pekinese from Texas, her owner is American Becky Stanford.
